Over the past seven weeks, we’ve enjoyed a wonderful Season of ThanksGiving together. From fudge and pancakes to ice-cream, children’s games, and joyful moments of fellowship after each service, we have truly “tasted and seen that the LORD is good.”
Our sermons through Psalms 34, 127, 5, 6, 19, and 145 have reminded us of God’s faithful goodness, His daily care, and the blessing of belonging to a joyful, worshipping community. What a privilege it has been to give thanks together!
This Sunday is our Day of ThanksGiving.
In the Old Testament, the “Thank Offering” allowed God’s people to respond to His generosity by giving back a portion of what He had given them. In the same spirit, during our service you will have the opportunity to bring a special ThanksGiving Offering—over and above your usual giving—as a heartfelt act of gratitude.
Here is how it will work:
After the sermon, families will be invited to come forward to the communion table (which will serve as our altar for the offering). On the table, you’ll find a treasure box into which you can place your offering.
For safety reasons, we prefer that you do not bring cash. Instead, please make an EFT into our bank account (details below) and bring a simple piece of paper with the amount you deposited written on it – no name needed, just the amount.
This serves two purposes:
There is something powerful and meaningful about bringing your offering to the altar.
It allows us to tally up the full offering together and celebrate the good news with the congregation.
Children will remain in the service, and we encourage families to come forward together—this moment is especially meaningful when children are included in this act of worship and gratitude.
After the service, we will celebrate with a Chicken Burger Brunch, free of charge. Please bring your own drinks and, if you’d like, a salad to share. We will provide the chicken, burgers, sauces, serviettes, and ice cream. There will also be a Jumping Castle, French Cricket, and other family games as we continue our theme of joyful community.
We’ll light the fires right after the service, and the burgers should be ready by 11:00 AM. We aim to wrap up by 12:00 PM.

This promises to be a very special day of worship, gratitude, and fellowship. After seven weeks of ThanksGiving, I’m really looking forward to celebrating this final moment with you!
God bless and Love,
Theo
P.S. If you can’t attend in person, our online service will also focus on ThanksGiving. You are welcome to make your offering via EFT, which is secure and reduces bank charges.
