Season Of Thanksgiving and Joyful Community

Dear Church Family

Spring, if not Summer, has sprung, we invite you to join us for a special season in the life of our church family.
It will run from 9 October – 23 November and we’re calling it

🌿 A Season of Thanksgiving
and Joyful Community 🌿

Over these weeks we will celebrate together with food, fun, fellowship, and worship. It will be a time to enjoy one another, rejoice in God’s goodness, and renew our commitment to Him.

1.✨ Our Three Themes

  • Taste and See that the Lord is Good

  • Give Thanks to the Lord, for He is Good!

  • Arts & Crafts Table – members of our congregation will share their creativity; donations from sales will support the ministry.

4.🙌 A Day of Thanksgiving – 23 Nov

On the final Sunday, we will gather in joyful worship.
As an act of thanksgiving, everyone will be invited to bring an offering to the altar – whether in the form of tithes, financial gifts, pledges of service, re-commitments, or prayers.

This will be a celebration of God’s faithfulness and our shared life as His people.

💖 What’s our Goal?

Our goal is simple: to create times of joy and fellowship, to build up our sense of community, and to give thanks to the Lord for His many blessings.

Come, join the feast of friendship, the laughter of children, the creativity of God’s people, and the worship of our Lord.

Together, let us taste and see that the Lord is good!

5.How can you get involved?

We need people to help with serving ice-cream, baking cakes and cupcakes for our tea-party, making pancake batter, flipping pancakes and so much more.

If you help with baking or cooking we will reimburse you for your ingredients. If you’re doing crafts we’ll help you with tables etc. but you’ll need to bring your own float.

We will have sign-up sheets in the foyer.

6.There’s more coming…

We’re still tightening up some of our arrangements. We’re hoping to have an afternoon of children’s games, robotics and lego-building. We’ll keep you posted….

7.Why are we doing this?

While fund-raising is part of this, it’s more about FUN-raising and our desire to grow a strong community and to bring God glory.

SOLI DEO GLORIA!
